As Dangote Cement Plc sets to hold its 12th Annual General Meeting, the company has called on shareholders to check for their names in the List of Unclaimed Dividends published on the company’s website.
The 908-page document published by Dangote Cement Plc contains 229,358 names of shareholders with outstanding dividends in the company as at 2019.
Shareholders whose names appear on the list are advised to contact the company registrar to complete e-dividend registration and facilitate the payment of outstanding dividends.
The company’s registrar is Coronation Registrars Ltd. The e-dividend mandate form can be downloaded or filled online on the registrar’s website or the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) website.

The Board of Directors of Dangote Cement Plc recommended a N16 dividend for the 2020 financial year with the qualification date set as 27th April 2021.
If approved the recommended dividend is approved by the shareholders at the AGM, dividends will be paid on 27 May 2021 to the shareholders whose names appear are on the Register of Members as at 27 April 2021.
The equity price of Dangote Cement Plc has been flat at N220.00 per share since 16 April 2021. YTD the share price is down by 10.17%.
