BUA Cement Plc (BUACEMENT) has announced a final dividend of N2.80 per ordinary share of 50 Kobo each for the 2022 financial year ended 31st December, 2022.
In a corporate actions announcement released on the Nigerian Exchange Limited, BUA Cement stated that the dividend will be subject to appropriate withholding tax.

The N2.80 dividend which is also subject to the approval of shareholders, if approved will be paid out of the profits declared in the financial year ended 31 December, 2022. It paid N2.60 dividend for the 2021 financial year.
The qualification date for the dividend has been set at 11th August, 2023.
On 24th August 2023, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as of 11th August, who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, which is also available on the Registrar’s website; www.africaprudential.com complete and submit to the Registrar or their respective Banks.
The Company’s Annual General Meeting will be held at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, on 24th August 2023 at 11:00am.
The company reported a profit after tax of N101.01bn for the 2022 financial year, an improvement on the N90.07bn it reported in 2021.
