The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad has resigned, Channels TV reported.
Justice Muhammad resigned Sunday night citing ill-health, according to the report.
His resignation comes a week after the altercation between the Chief Justice of Nigeria and 14 justices of the Supreme Court.
Following Muhammad’s resignation, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola will be the next Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, following Senate’s confirmation, according to the Punch report.
