Africa Prudential Plc (NSE:AFRIPRUD) and Ikeja Hotel Plc (NSE: IKEJAHOTEL) earlier today notified the Nigerian Stock Exchange and the investing public about their forthcoming board meetings.
In its publication, AFRIPRUD stated that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the company is scheduled to hold on Wednesday July 22, 2020 to consider amongst other business, the Audited Financial Statements for the period ended June 30, 2020.
The notice went further to state that in compliance with the post listing rules of the Exchange, there will be a closed period commencing from July 7, 2020 until 24 hours after the Audited Financial Statements have been filed with the Exchange.
Subsequently, no director, person discharging managerial responsibility and adviser of AFRIPRUD shall deal directly or indirectly in the shares of the Company in any manner howsoever.

In its own publication, IKEJAHOTEL gave notice that a board meeting of IKEJAHOTEL will be held via teleconferencing on Wednesday, July 23, 2020 by 11.:00am to receive and consider among other business, the Second Quarter Financial Statements of the company.
Consequently and pursuant to Rule 17.18 of the Rulebook of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, IKEJAHOTEL commenced a closed period today the 8th of July. Therefore, no Director, persons discharging managerial responsibilities, and advisers of the Company and their connected persons shall deal in the securities of the company.
The company stated that the closed period will end 24 hours after IKEJAHOTEL’s Second Quarter Financial Statements have been submitted to the Exchange.
IKEJAHOTEL appeared on the Investogist Stock pick for the current week, with a SELL rating, the stock’s current price is N1.02.
AFRIPRUD appeared on the Investogist Stock pick for the week 8th -12th June 2020, with a BUY rating within a fair price range of N3.60 – N4.00, the stock’s current price is N4.00.
