Regency Alliance Insurance Plc (NGX: REGALINS) has notified shareholders and the public of a continued delay in filing its Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2025, as well as its Unaudited Financial Statements for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026.
In a corporate disclosure filed on the Nigerian Exchange, the Company explained that the delay in submitting the 2025 audited accounts stems from the fact that the adjusted financial statements have been sent to the company’s External Auditors for attestation and signing.
Once completed, the statements will be forwarded to the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) for regulatory approval, as required for insurance companies operating in Nigeria.
The company stated that upon receiving NAICOM’s approval, it will proceed to file both the 2025 Audited Financial Statements and the Q1 2026 Unaudited Financial Statements via the NGX Issuers’ Portal on or before August 31, 2026.
Regency Alliance apologized for the delay, assuring the Exchange, shareholders, and the general public that steps have been taken to prevent a recurrence of such lapses in future reporting cycles.
