United Bank for Africa Plc (NGX: UBA) has informed the Nigerian Exchange Limited, its shareholders and the investing public of a delay in publishing the Bank’s Half-Year 2023 Audited Financial Statements (AFS).

In a notification signed by Bili A. Odum, the Group Company Secretary/Legal Counsel, the banking group stated that it was optimistic that the AFS will be submitted to the NGX on or before Friday, September 15, 2023.
The bank did not give any reason for what its called a “slight delay” in publishing the financial statements.
It however reminded all insiders of the Bank that the trading window for dealing in the Bank’s shares will remain closed to them and their connected persons until 24 hours have elapsed after the release of the Audited Financial Statements.
Investogist has reported that Several banks had in recent days that Stanbic IBTC, Zenith Bank Plc, and Access Holdings Plc announced delays in the publications of their respective half-year financial statements.
