The Board of Directors of United Bank for Africa Plc (NGX: UBA) has approved the payment of an interim dividend and the 2023 Half Year results and reports of the bank.

The approvals which are subject to the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria were given by the Board at its meeting which held on Monday, July 31, 2023.
For the 2022 Half Year period, UBA reported a profit of N70.33bn and paid an interim dividend of N0.20 for every ordinary share of 50 kobo each.
United Bank for Africa Plc had reported a profit of N53.58bn for the first quarter period of 2023, ended 31 March, 2023.
In the notification of the outcome of the Board meeting signed by Bili A. Odum, the Group Company Secretary/Leal Counsel and seen by Investogist, the banking group advised the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the investing public that they would be notified upon approval of the 2023
