Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX: NGXGROUP) has declared a final dividend of 75 kobo per share for the 2023 financial year ended 31 December, 2023. With an interim dividend of 25 kobo paid for the half year period, the total dividend declared by the Group comes up to ₦1.00.

The dividend is subject to the appropriate withholding tax and approval of shareholders.
NGX Group did not pay a dividend for the 2022 financial year.
Shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on 26 March, 2024 will qualify to receive the dividend.
The payment date for the dividend will be communicated to shareholders and investing public once the company’s Annual General Meeting has been fixed.
With the share price at ₦20.75, the ₦2.80 dividend translates to a dividend yield of 4.81%, without the consideration of withholding tax.

NGX Exchange Group Plc reported a profit after tax of ₦5.25bn for the 2023 financial year (2022: ₦591.50 mn).
Its posted an Earnings Per Share of ₦2.43 (2022: ₦0.35).
