Learn Africa Plc (NGX: LEARNAFRCA) has declared a final dividend of 35 kobo per ordinary share for the full year period ended 31 March 2025. The declared dividend amounts to ₦270.00 million.
It posted a profit of ₦474.97 million for the year, and a basic earnings per share of 62 kobo.

The dividend which is subject to appropriate withholding tax was made public in a corporate action announcement by the publishing company on Friday.
Qualification date for the dividend has been set as Friday, 12th September 2025. On Thursday, 25th September 2025, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at Friday, 12th September 2025, and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, which is also available on the Registrar’s website: www.firstregistrarsnigeria.com, complete and submit to the Registrar or their respective Banks.
The Company’s Annual General Meeting will be held at Felix Iwerebon House, 52 Oba Akran Avenue, Ikeja Lagos, on Thursday 25th September 2025 at 11.00a.m.
Share price of Learn Africa Plc closed flat on Friday at ₦7.00. The 52-week low price for its shares is ₦2.93, while the 52-week high price is ₦7.75.

Learn Africa Plc is a leading learning resource business with a history spanning over 60 years. The company was established in 1961 as Longman Nigeria – a book publishing firm wholly owned by Longman Group UK Limited, now Pearson Education. On July 23, 1996, the shares of Longman Nigeria Plc were listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
In 2008, the company became a subsidiary of Pearson Plc following the latter’s increase in its shareholding from 29 to 51 percent. In 2011, however, Pearson and Longman Nigeria mutually agreed to become separate corporate entities in Nigeria.
