Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the spokesperson for the Norther Elders Forum and elder brother to Datti Baba-Ahmed has revealed that he will serve as Special Adviser (Political) to Vice=President Kashim Shettima.

Dr. Datti Baba-Ahmed was the running mate to Peter Obi, the Labour Party candidate in the 2023 presidential election.
Dr. Hakeem announced that he will be serving under the VP in a post on X, formerly Twitter, saying that it was no time to be “fence-sitting.”
“It is time to make it public that I have accepted the call to serve as Special Adviser (Political) to the VP,” Dr. Hakeem wrote on his X page.
