The Board of Directors of United Bank for Africa (NGX: UBA) has approved the payment for a final dividend to Shareholders of the Bank for the 2022 financial year.

This was contained in a notification by the Bank on the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Monday to update the Exchange and the investing public on the outcome of the meeting of its Board of Directors.
“Please be informed that the Board of United Bank for Africa Plc at its meeting which held on Thursday, February 9, 2023, considered and approved the Group Audited Consolidated & Separate Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2022, and payment of a final dividend, subject to the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria,” the company stated.
The company advised that the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the investing public would be immediately notified upon approval of the Group Audited Consolidated & Separate Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2022 by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
On 29 September 2022, UBA paid an interim dividend of N0.20 for every 50 kobo ordinary share for the half-year period ended 30 June, 2022.
