Board of Directors of Africa Prudential Plc approves dividend for 2023 financial year

The Board of Directors of Africa Prudential Plc (NGX: AFRIPRUD) has approved the declaration of dividend for the 2023 financial year.

Approval for the declaration of dividend was given at the meeting of the Board of Directors held on Tuesday February 20, 2024.

In a post Board meeting notification signed by Joseph Jibunoh, the Company Secretary, the following were approved;

1. The Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2023.
2. The declaration of dividend for the 2023 financial year,

AFRIPRUD, one of the most consistent dividend paying companies on The Exchange paid a dividend of 50 kobo per ordinary share for the 2022 financial year.

All insiders of Africa Prudential Plc were reminded that the closed period which commenced on 1 January 2024 will continue to be in force until 24 hours after the Audited Financial Statements and the dividend information are released to the public.
