Bendel Insurance win 2023 Nigeria Federation Cup after a 1 nil victory over Rangers International of Enugu at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on Sunday.
Imade Osarenkhoe scored the only goal of the match.
The win gives them a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup next season alongside Rivers United while Enyimba International of Aba and Remo Stars will represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League.
The club will also receive a cash prize of N15 mollion.
This is Bendel Insurance’s fourth Federation Cup title in the club’s history and their first since 1980.
In the female category, Bayelsa United defeated former champions Rivers Angels 4-2 in a penalty shootout in the final to emerge the Federation Cup winner.
