AIICO Insurance’s Board of Directors approves 2022 FY Dividend proposal

The Board of Directors of AIICO Insurance Plc (NGX: AIICO) has approved a proposal to pay a dividend to shareholders for the 2022 financial year.

The approval was among the resolutions unanimously passed at the Board meeting of the Company held on 28th February 2023.

At the meeting, the Board unanimously resolved as follows;

1. That the Financial Statements and Accounts of the Company together with the Directors and Auditor’s reports for the financial year ended December 31, 2022 and a dividend proposal subject to approval of Audited Financials by National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) is
   approved.
2. That the Management of the Company is hereby authorized to submit the Audited Financial Statements and Accounts of the Company for the year ended December 31, 2022 to NAICOM for its approval.
3. That upon receipt of the approval of NAICOM, the Audited Financial Statements and Accounts should be filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
4. That upon obtaining regulatory approval, the Management of the Company is hereby authorized to publish a summary of the Audited Financial Statements and Accounts of the Company for the year ended December 31, 2022 in National Newspapers.
