In just 12 days after the visit of the Speaker of the U.S House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan, a five-member delegation led by Democratic Sen. Ed Markey of Massachuset has landed in the self-governing Island.
The delegation will be in Taiwan on Sunday and Monday as part of a visit to Asia, according to the American Institute in Taiwan. They will meet senior leaders to discuss U.S.-Taiwan relations, regional security, trade, investment and other issues.
