The Governor made the request at a meeting of Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU) on Thursday.
A source at the meeting in Awka who do not wish to be named told Investogist that “His Excellency Mr. Governor instructed Town Union PGs to vote for Peter Obi for President and APGA in other positions.”
In November 2022, Gov. Soludo in an interview with Channels TV’s Politics Today stated that the investment of the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on behalf of the State is worth next to nothing.
He followed it up with a tweet expressing his hope that Peter Obi will return to APGA, and begin the hard work of being the President of Nigeria.
I hope that after February 2023, Peter Obi will return to APGA (the party that made him everything he is politically) as I offered him on 8th March, 2022 and begin the hard work, if he truly wants to be president of Nigeria.
