Lamidi Apapa, factional national chairman of the Labour Party (LP), return to Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Friday as he had promised after the altercation in Wednesday’s hearing.
Apapa’s’s sitting position in court on Friday (today) is in contrast with his attempts to occupy one of the seats reserved for LP leaders at the tribunal two days ago. Apapa was seated at the back of the courtroom instead of the reserved for representatives of LP

Apapa was later booed by LP supporters while being whisked out of the courtroom.
However, on Thursday he promised to the court. “Maybe by the next one, I will be recognised,” he stated.
Also present at the Friday’s hearing is the presidential candidate of LP, Peter Obi.
