University Press Plc (NGX: UPL) has announced a dividend of 10 kobo per 50 kobo ordinary share for the financial year ended 31 March, 2022.
In a corporate action published by the company and seen by Investogist, UPL stated that the final dividend is payable t shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business of 31st August, 2022.

On 29th September 2022, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at 31st August 2022, and who have completed the e-dividend registration and
mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
The share price of UPL stood at N2.58 at the end of trading on Friday, 1st July 2022. At this price, the 10 kobo announced dividend will amount to a dividend yield of 3.87%.
Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s
E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, which is also available on their website: www.gtlregistrars.com.
complete and submit to the Registrar or their respective Banks.
Shareholders with dividend warrants and share certificates that have remained unclaimed, or are yet to be
presented for payment or returned for validation are advised to complete the e-dividend registration or
contact the Registrar.
The announced dividend will be subject to the approval of Shareholders at the company’s Annual General Meeting slated to hold on Thursday, 29th September 2022., and also withholding tax.
