UAC of Nigeria PLC (NGX: UACN) released its audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025, alongside a proposed dividend announcement.
The Group revenue surged 73% to ₦340.47 billion from ₦196.90 billion in 2024, reflecting a good performance across its core segments in animal feeds and edibles, paints, packaged foods and beverages, and quick-service restaurants.
Operating profit rose 51% to ₦28.50 billion, underscoring improved operational efficiency.
However, profit after tax declined 39% to ₦9.91 billion (2024: ₦16.31 billion), primarily due to elevated net finance costs of ₦15.50 billion compared to a net finance income of ₦5.96 billion the previous year.
Earnings per share stood at 362 kobo (basic).
Consequently, the Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₦1.00 per ordinary share of 50 kobo each — a 355% increase from the 22 kobo paid in 2024 — representing a total cash distribution of approximately ₦2.93 billion to qualifying shareholders.
The dividend is subject to approval at the company’s Annual General Meeting scheduled for Thursday, 25 June 2026 at 10:00 a.m.

The board highlighted continued investment in capacity expansion and market positioning across its subsidiaries, including Livestock Feeds PLC, Chemical and Allied Products PLC (CAP), UAC Foods Limited, and others.
The Group also maintained a solid balance sheet with total equity of ₦69.77 billion and cash and cash equivalents of ₦50.91 billion.
In line with its commitment to good corporate governance, UACN reported no regulatory sanctions or penalties during the year and confirmed full compliance with its Securities Trading Policy.
The company also made charitable donations totalling ₦53.9 million, focusing on education, healthcare, and community development initiatives across Nigeria.
