The Board of Directors of Transnational Corporation Plc (NGX: TRANSCORP) has approved a proposal for declaration of Final Dividend for the 2023 Financial Year.

At a Board Meeting held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, the Directors of the Company passed the resolution approving the dividend declaration among other resolutions.
The following resolutions among others were passed at the meeting held at the Company’s Board room via Zoom:
- The Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2023, was approved.
- The proposal for declaration of final divided for the 2023 Financial Year was approved.
- The appointment of the Group Chief Finance Officer, Mr Festus Izevbizua was approved.
Transcorp in its unaudited financial statements for the year ended 31 December, 2023 reported a revenue of ₦193.97 billion for the year (2022: ₦134.72 billion).
It reported a profit of ₦34.08 billion for the year, and an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of ₦0.56.
Transcorp Plc declared and paid a final dividend of 5 kobo per ordinary share for the 2022 financial year.
The new Group Chief Financial Officer of Transcorp Group, Mr Festus Izevbizua has over three decades of professional and practical experience
spanning insurance, banking, energy, financial services, auditing, consulting, business advisory, risk management, tax advisory, and international finance.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), the Institute of Credit Administration of Nigeria (FICA), a Senior Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), and an Associate Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM).
Festus holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Benin and a Masters Degree in Finance from the University of Calabar. He is also an alumnus of Columbia Business School in New York.
