Shareholders of United Capital Plc (NGX: UCAP) are set to receive a dividend of ₦1.80 per 50 kobo ordinary share for the period ended 31st December, 2023.

The Board of Directors of the company has proposed that a dividend of ₦1.80 kobo per ordinary share of 50 kobo each amounting to ₦10.8 Billion, be paid to shareholders upon approval at the Annual General Meeting. The proposed dividend is subject to appropriate withholding tax.

At the of trading on Wednesday on the floor of the Nigerian Exchange, UCAP’s share price closed at ₦23.10, thus putting its dividend yield at 7.79%.
Shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on the 9th of April, 2024 will qualify for the dividend.
On April 23, 2024, Final Dividend will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at the close of business on April 9, 2024 and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrars to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, which is also available at https://africaprudential.com/wpcontent/uploads/2018/01/EDMMS-Form_120118.pdf, complete and submit to the Registrar or their respective Banks.
The Company’s Annual General Meeting will hold at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 10.00am.
