Seplat Energy Pc (NGX: SEPLAT) has announced an interim dividend of U$0.03 for the first quarter period ended 31 March, 2024.
In a corporate announcement seen by Investogist, the company stated that the dividend will be paid to shareholders for every ordinary share held.

Those whose hold the shares as the the end of trading on May 31, 2024, will qualify to receive the dividend.
Seplat Energy Plc, a leading Nigerian Independent energy company is listed on both the Nigerian Exchange Limited and London Stock Exchange.
The dividend will be paid in US Dollars and Naira only. The exchange rate for the Naira amounts payable will be determined by reference to the relevant exchange rates applicable to the US dollar on May 30, 2024, and will be communicated by the Company on May 31, 2024.
On or around June 14, 2024, the interim dividend will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as of May 31, 2024 and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their interim dividend directly into their Bank accounts.
Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the e-mandate form from the website of DataMax at http://www.datamaxregistrars.com, complete and submit to Datamax or their respective Banks. Holders of shares through depositary interests on the LSE are advised to provide their account details to the Company’s UK depositary, Computershare.
Seplat Energy Plc reported a loss of ₦2.87 billion/US$1.93 million for the first quarter period ended March 31, 2024. It posted a profit of ₦26.42 billion/US$57.53 million for the same period in the preceding year.
