The Federal Republic of Nigeria (FGN), through her investment agency, the Nigeria Investment Promotion Council (NIPC), in collaboration with the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), is hosting a virtual session in preparation for the official launch of the 14th Annual Forum of Developing Country Investment Negotiators.
This session will be graced by His Excellency, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo GCON, Vice President of Nigeria on September 14, 2021 by 12pm (UTC).
The forum will look at areas of improvement and consolidation leading to the main event.
According to the report contained in the daily NIPC Intelligence, the topic will be, “High-level Preparatory Launch for the 14th Annual Forum of Developing Country Investment Negotiators.”
Describing the event, the announcement read, “In preparing for the official launch of the 14th Annual Forum of Developing Country Investment Negotiators, the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) and the Federal Government of Nigeria will co-host a High-level Preparatory Launch Event on September 14, 2021.
“At this Preparatory Launch Event, we will announce the theme of the 14th Annual Forum, which will be held in Abuja in early 2022. The event will provide an opportunity to share views and insights on key Forum topics that will be further developed in the following months leading to the Abuja Forum.”
