MTN Nigeria Plc (NGX: MTNN) has announced an interim dividend of N5.60 kobo per 2 kobo ordinary share for the first half year period ended 30 June, 2023.

The interim dividend announcement was contained in a corporate actions announcement released by the company on Friday.
The qualification date for the interim dividend is 16 August, 2023.
On 24 August 2023, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at 16 August 2023, and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activate Form, complete and submit to the Registrar or their respective Banks.
MTNN reported a profit of M128.68bn (H1 2022: N181.62bn) for the first half period, and an Earnings Per Share of N6.33 (H1 2022: N8.95).
