The Supreme Court has fixed Thursday, October 26, for the judgment on the appeals by the presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, The Punch reported.
The Supreme Court’s Director of Information, Dr. Festus Akande, disclosed this to The Punch correspondent in a telephone call on Wednesday, according to the report.
He said, “Tomorrow, Thursday, has been fixed for the judgment on the appeals brought by Atiku and Peter Obi.”
Recall that Obi and Atiku approched the Supreme Court seeking for the court to set aside the judgment by the presidential election tribunal which affirmed the declaration of Bola Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
