The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, on Tuesday arrived at the Headquarters of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for an interaction with the Christian leaders.
Atiku arrived CAN Headquarters with his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, and PDP national chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu.
CAN had commenced interaction with presidential candidates of the various political parties ahead of the 2023 presidential election, where they presented their proposals.
The President of CAN, Archbishop Daniel Okoh said they have spent time reviewing the problems that hinder peace and progress in the country and are making suggestions on how best to improve them.
Others Atiku’s entourage included Governor of Taraba State, Dairus Ishaku; former governor of Cross River, Liyel Imoke; former Vice President, Alhaji Namadi Sambo; Chief Tom Ikimi; Chairman Emeritus of Daar Communications Plc, Dr. Raymond Dokpesi;
A former Senate President, Bukola Saraki; Senator Philip Aduda, Senator Dino Melaye, Timi Alaibe, Kenneth Imasuagbon, Dele Momodu, Boni Haruna, and and other party Chieftains were also among the team.
