Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (NGX: GTCO) has announced a final dividend of N2.80 Kobo per ordinary share of 50 Kobo for the 2022 financial year ended December 31, 2022.

During the 2022 financial year, Directors declared and paid an interim dividend of 30 Kobo per ordinary share on the share capital of 29,431,179,224 Ordinary Shares of 50 Kobo each, for the half-year period ended June 30, 2022.
With the Directors recommendation of a final dividend of N2.80k (Two naira and Eighty Kobo only), it brings the e total dividend for the financial year ended December 31, 2022 to N3.10k.
The final dividend will be subject to shareholders approval and appropriate withholding tax which will be deducted at the point of payment.
Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc reported a 20.42% growth in gross earnings for the year ended December 31, 2022 and a profit of N169.17 billion (2021: N174.84 billion).
The final dividend will be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of shareholders as at the close of business on May 1, 2023.
On May 11, 2023, dividend will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Shareholders as at May 1, 2023, who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Form, which is available on the Registrar’s website: www.datamaxregistrars.com, ad also o GTCO’s website: www.gtcoplc.com, complete and submit to the Registrar at their address of the nearest GTCO branch.
The Company’s Annual General Meeting will be held virtually via zoom, an online meeting platform, on May 11, 2023, at 10.00am.
