The Board of Directors of Fidelity Bank Plc (NGX: FIDELITYBK) has proposed an interim dividend f N0.25 (twenty-five kobo) per ordinary share of N0.50 each for the half-year period ended 30 June, 2023.

The interim dividend will be subject to the appropriate withholding tax, which will be deducted at the time of payment.
A corporate action announcement released by the bank proposes the following important dates;
- Qualification date: September 15, 2023
- Payment date: September 22, 2023
For H1 2022, Fidelity Bank Plc proposed and paid an interim dividend of 10 kobo per ordinary shares.
On September 22, 2023 dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at September 15, 2023 and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.

Fidelity Bank Plc reported a profit after income tax of N61.9bn (H1 2022: N23.30bn) for the half-year period ended 30 June, 2023, and an Earnings per Share (EPS) of N1.94 (H1 2022: N0.80).
