Inter Milan and Denmark’s midfielder Christian Eriksen collapsed in the 43rd minute of the first half in their Euro 2020 game against Finland.
The playmaker was given CPR by medics as his Danish teammates formed a ring around him, while the medics pumped his chest.
The players are in distress as the medics treat Eriksen, and the match has been suspended.
The UEFA EURO 2020 match in Copenhagen has been suspended due to a medical emergency.

Fabrice Muamba collapsed on a pitch while playing for Bolton Wanderers in 2012. He suffered a cardiac arrest and was “in effect dead” for 78 minutes. He recovered thankfully although never played again.
Christian Eriksen collapsed as a throw-in was played towards him. The players immediately called for the medical staff and Eriksen was being resuscitated at one point. The players all looked in tears and some were praying.
Eriksen’s partner was brought down to the pitch, where she was consoled by Denmark captain Simon Kjaer and goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
Uefa’s tweet says Christian Eriksen has been “transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised”.

The Danish FA says Christian Eriksen is awake and waiting for more tests in hospital.
