On Thursday 2nd July, 2020, Dangote Cement Plc (NSE: DANGCEM) informed the Nigerian Stock Exchange and all investors that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Dangote Cement Plc will be held on July 23, 2020.
In view of this, Dangote Cement Plc. shall enter a Closed Trading Period from July 8, 2020 until twenty-four (24) hours after the relevant resolutions taken at the Board meeting, are released to the public.

For the first quarter 2020 ended 31st March 2020, DANGCEM reported a profit of N60.592 billion, marginally higher than the N60.254 billion reported for the same period in 2019.
At the end of trading today, the stock price remained unchanged at N127.00. Year to date, the stock price is down by 10.56%, and down by 28.25% year on year.
Analyst at Investogist have a BUY rating on this bellwether between a price range of N102.00 – N116.00.
