BUA Foods Plc (NGX: BUAFOODS) has informed shareholders and the investing public of a possible delay in the submission of its unaudited financial statements for the third quarter of 2025, attributing the situation to ongoing adjustments in its data infrastructure.
In a statement signed by the Company Secretary, Oluseye Alayande, and released on Thursday, the company said the filing of its third quarter unaudited financial statements, initially scheduled for October 30, 2025, may not hold as planned.
According to the company, the likely delay is due to “certain changes that require migration in the company’s data setup,” noting that the technical adjustments have become necessary to ensure accuracy and compliance in its reporting process.
While the Board of Directors meeting to consider the financial results will proceed on October 30, BUA Foods assured stakeholders that the statements would be filed on or before November 14, 2025.
The company also disclosed that its closed period, which began on October 1, will remain in effect until 24 hours after the official release of the financial statements. During this period, insiders are prohibited from trading in the company’s shares in accordance with market regulations.
