Bua Cement Plc (NGX: BUACEMENT) has declared a final dividend of ₦2.00 per share for the 2023 financial year ended 31 December, 2023. The dividend is subject to the appropriate withholding tax and approval of shareholders.

The cement manufacturer declared and paid a final dividend of ₦2.80 for the 2022 financial year.
Shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on 11 August, 2024 will qualify to receive the dividend.
By 31 August, 2024, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders who qualified for the dividend and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their bank accounts.
With the share price at ₦135.00, the ₦2.80 dividend translates to a dividend yield of 2.07%, without the consideration of withholding tax.

Shareholders of Bua Cement Plc will meet on August 31, 2024 at the congress hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja to approve the dividend proposal amongst other things.
Bua Cement reported a profit after tax of ₦69.45bn for the 2023 financial year (2022: ₦101.01bn).
Its posted an Earnings Per Share of ₦2.05 (2022: ₦2.98).
