Samuel Eto’o, former Barcelona and Cameroon striker and president of Cameroon’s football federation- FECAFOOT has been caught camera lashing out at a man with a camera after a match at the ongoing World Cup in Qatar.
The incident happened on Monday outside Stadium 974 in Doha, Qatar after Brazil beat South Korea 4-1, according to the BBC.
It is unclear what led to the incident as Eto’o posed for several pictures with supporters prior to the angry altercation with the man.
In the video clip filmed by La Opinion, a Spanish speaking news website based in Los Angeles, bystanders tried to restrain the 41 year old, who was seen in the video advancing towards the man but he later broke loose. Eto’o then appeared to kick the man with his foot.

Eto’o who is a four-time African footballer of the year is also an ambassador for Qatar’s Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy.
Eto’o was elected FECAFOOT president in December 2021.
