An explosion at Ajangbadi Injection Substation has caused ppwer outage insome areas of Lagos.
The affected areas include Igbede, Aka and Sabo.
This is according to the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) in a short statement posted on its official Facebook page.
EKEDC however did not say what caused the explosion or how long the outage will last. It called on customers to be patient as it is working towards restoring power supply to the affected areas.
The statement read, “Dear valued customer, the Present outage you are experiencing is due to an explosion in our Ajangbadi Injection Substation.
“Affected areas include Igbede, Aka and Sabo.
“We are currently working with our technical team to rectify the fault,” it added.
