Various Directors of Zenith Bank Plc (NGX: ZENITHBANK) has acquired 17.78 million units of shares of Zenith Bank in several transactions done between May 4 and May 16.

In several notifications of insider dealings published on the Nigerian Exchange Limited, the bank notified the exchange and the investing public that three of it’s Directors and Zenith Staff Prudent Fund acquired these shares.
On May 4, Ebenezer Onyeagwu, the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive of Zenith Bank acquired 3,463,461 shares of the bank at an average price of N23.93.
On May 5, He acquired a further aggregate volume of 4,536,539 shares of the bank at an average price of N24.01.
As at 31 December, 2022, Mr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu directly held 82,176,078 shares of the bank.
On May 3, Zenith Staff Provident Fund acquired 1,660,582 shares at an average price of N24.20.
On May 10 and 16, Adobi Stella Nwapa, an Executive Director or the bank acquired 3,962,111 and 37,889 units of shares respectively. The average prices o the transactions were N24.05 and N24.50.
As at 31 December, 2022, Mrs Adobi Nwapa directly held 11,008,206 shares of Zenith Bank.
Between May 12 and May 17, Anthony Akindele Oguranti, and Executive Director acquired over 4 million shares of the bank.
He acquired 4,090,000 Shares on May 12 at an average price of N23.85, on May 25, he acquired another 30,000 units at an average price of N24.05, and finally on May 17, he acquired 1,596 shares at N24.50.
As at 31 December, 2022, Mr. Akindele Ogunrati directly held 2,764,005 shares of Zenith Bank.
