A private jet carrying the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu has crash landed in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.

Channels TV reported that the private jet operated by Flint Aero crash-landed on Friday night at Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport, Ibadan.
The aircraft while attempting to land derailed the runway, causing a crash into the bush. The pilot having been cleared for an RNAV approach to Runway 22, skidded off the runway.
Vanguard reported that the HS25B aircraft departed from Abuja at 6.41pm, carrying several high ranking government officials.
Reports stated that there were 10 individuals on board the plane, but there was no reported fatalities from the incident,. The aircraft however sustained substantial damage.
The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) says it has commenced an investigation into the cause of the accident.
In a statement made available to the press, the Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, NSIB, James Odaudu, confirmed the accident involving an aircraft operated by Flint Aero at the.
He said: “Please, be informed that the NSIB has commenced an investigation into the cause.
“Our investigators are on site, and further information will be provided as soon as possible.”
