Okomu Oil Palm Company Plc (NGX: OKOMUOIL) has declared an interim dividend of N2.00 for the nine month period ended 30 September, 2024.
The Board of Directors proposed that the Interim Dividend of N2.00 per ordinary share of 50 Kobo each on the 953,910,000 issued ordinary shares of 50 Kobo each be paid to shareholders on the register of shareholding as of the qualification date. Withholding Tax will be deducted at the time of payment.
The qualification date for the interim dividend has been set as 14th November, 2024.
On 18th November, 2024, the dividend amounting to N1.91 billion will be paid electronically to Ordinary Shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at the close of business on 14th November, 2024, and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
Shareholders who have yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, which is also available on the Registrar’s website: www.cardinalstoneregistrars.com, complete and submit it to the Registrar or their respective Banks.
OKOMUOIL posted N103.94 billion turnover, higher than the N60.64 billion posted in the same period in 2023.
The profit after tax rose marginally to ₦28.33 billion for the nine month period, a significant growth from the ₦20.92 billion it posted for the same period in 2023.
Its share price close flat at N338.1 today on the Nigerian Exchange. It has remained at this price 16th October.
