Mecure Industries Plc (NGX: MECURE) has announced a 15 kobo dividend per share for the period ended 31 December, 2023.
The dividend’s qualification date was slated as 17 May, 2024. It is subject to appropriate withholding tax and shareholders’ approval.
On 3rd June, the dividends worth N600 million will be paid electronically to unit holders whose names appear on the Register of Members at the close of business on 17 May, 2024 and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.

The company’s registrar is Cordros Registrars Limited. The e-dividend form is available on the Registrar’s website and on Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) website.
Unit holders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, complete and submit to the Registrar or their respective Banks.
MECURE has four billion (4,000,000,000,000) outstanding shares with a market capitalization of N38.88 billion at the close of business on Wednesday. The share price closed flat at N9.72 where it has remained since 14 February, 2024.
The principal activity of the Company is to carry out the business of manufacturing of pharmaceutical products, distribution of pharmaceutical and multivitamin products. It was listed on the Nigerian Exchange on November 7, 2023 at N2.96 per share. It rose to N13 per share on December 6, 2023.
The company reported a revenue of N31.76 billion (2022: N26.64 billion) and a profit after tax of N2.91 billion (2022: N2.61 billion) for the period ended December 31, 2023. The proposed dividend represents 20.60% of its profit for the period.
