Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (NGX: GTCO) has declared an interim dividend of ₦1.00 for the first half year period ended 30 June 2025.

The Directors proposed the payment of an interim dividend in the sum of ₦1.00k per ordinary share on the issued capital of 34,136,979,514 Ordinary Shares of 50 Kobo each payable to Shareholders on the register of shareholding at the closure date. Withholding tax was deducted at the time of payment.
Investogist reported in August that the Board of Directors of the company had approved the interim dividend was approved alongside the half-year audited accounts and financial statements at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company held on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
On October 15, 2025, dividend will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at October 7, 2025, and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
For the first half period, GTCO reported gross earnings of ₦1.07 trillion (H1 2024: ₦1.39 trillion), and a profit after tax of ₦449.01 billion (H1 2024: ₦905.56 billion). It posted an earnings per share of ₦13.59 (H1 2024: ₦32.12).

Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc was incorporated as a public limited company on July 24, 2020, and was licensed as a nonoperating financial holding company by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on April 14, 2021.
The Company’s ordinary shares were listed on The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) on June 24, 2021, and its Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) were admitted to listing on the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority of the United Kingdom and to trading on the London Stock Exchange on June 25, 2021, further to the implementation of a scheme of arrangement for the restructuring of the Guaranty Trust Group into a non-operating financial holding company structure with investments in banking and non-banking permissible businesses.
The Company commenced operations on August 1, 2021.
