Dennis Olisa, an Executive Director in Zenith Bank Plc (NSE ticker – ZENITHBANK) has increased his stake via the acquisition of 2 million units of the company shares.
The transaction worth over N34 million was done on Wednesday at the Nigerian Stock Exchange Lagos, according to the notification of share dealing by insiders released by the bank.
The notification signed by Michael Osilama Otu, the Company Secretary/General Counsel said the transaction was conducted in two tranches as follows; 1.5 million units purchased at N17.20 per share and 500,000 units purchased at N17.10 per share.

Olisa held 7,122,316 units of ZENITHBANK as at 31 December 2019, if he still hold his position, then his total holding will amount to 9,122,316 units barring any changes.
At the close of trading on Wednesday, ZENITHBANK lost 1.16% to close at N17.00 per share.

Mr. Dennis E. Olisa has served as Executive Director of Zenith Bank Plc since December 29, 2017. Until December 29, 2017, Olisa was Chief Inspector and Head of Internal Control & Audit Group of the Company. He was General Manager; Head of Energy, Oil and Gas Group of the Company until 2013.
Dennis Olisa is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He holds a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) Degree and a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M).
His professional career started at the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation in 1990 as a Bank Examiner. He has cognate Banking Industry experience spanning over 25 years.
He has attended Executive professional training programs at Insead Business School, France; Columbia University Graduate School of Business, USA; London School of Economics, United Kingdom, University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Harvard Business School, Boston, USA. He is Member of the Board Risk Management Committee of the Company.
