Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced its ex-gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to ₦1,200 per litre, a drop of ₦75 from the previous ₦1,275.
The refinery also lowered its coastal price to ₦1,153 per litre.
The adjustment, announced on March 26, 2026, comes amid ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East affecting global crude oil prices.
“Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals has reduced its gantry price for petrol to ₦1,200 per litre and its coastal price to ₦1,153 per litre,” the company stated.
The gantry price is what marketers pay to load fuel at the depot.
Retail pump prices at filling stations are expected to ease slightly in the coming days, though the actual reduction at the pumps will depend on transportation costs, margins, and location.
This latest cut follows a volatile March, during which Dangote’s gantry price saw several upward adjustments before this downward review.
The move is seen as a boost for local fuel supply and could help moderate the cost of living for motorists.
