Dangote Cement Plc (NGX: DANGCEM) has declared a final dividend of ₦30 per share for the 2023 financial year ended 31 December, 2023. The dividend is subject to the appropriate withholding tax and approval of shareholders.

The 2023 dividend is a 50% improvement on the ₦20 per share dividend declared and paid for the 2022 financial year.
Shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on March 30, 2024 will qualify to receive the dividend.
By April 15, 2024, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders who qualified for the dividend and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their bank accounts.
With the share price at N686.70 at the close of trading on Monday, the ₦30.00 dividend translates to a dividend yield of 4.36%, without the consideration of withholding tax.
Shareholders with dividend warrants and share certificates that have remained unclaimed or are yet to be presented for payment or returned for validation are advised to complete the e-dividend registration or contact the Registrar (Coronation Registrars).
Shareholders of Dangote Cement Plc will meet on April 29, 2024 by 11.00am at Eko Hotel & Sutes, Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos to approve the dividend proposal amongst other things.
Dangote Cement reported a net profit of ₦455.58bn for the 2023 financial year (2022: ₦382.31bn).
Its posted an Earnings Per Share of ₦26.47 (2022: ₦22.27).
