Nigerian lady begins 100 hours of marathon talk show in attempt to break Guinness World Records

Amuda Mariam, Nigerian lady and media personality, professionally known as Mary Gold is aiming to set a new Guinness World record as she kick starts 100 hours of marathon Television talk show.

The 100 hours show, which started on Saturday, December 16 and expected to end on Wednesday, December 20, is taking place at Tunde Odekunle street, off Coker street, off college road, Ogba in Lagos.

Mariam, who aimed to invite over 100 guests throughout the quests, disclosed that she has gotten approval from the Guinness world record and plans to put Nigeria media on the world map.

According to her, Guinness World Record had in October sent an approval mail to congratulate her and sent their rules and regulations and every other thing regarding the attempt.

It is worth noting that the longest marathon television talk show is 73 hr 23 min, and was achieved by NOVA24TV (Slovenia) and hosted by Boris Tomašič in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from 24 to 27 September 2023.

As of her 100 hours of marathon talk show, aired on Nigezie Xtreme, CH 427, Mariam has hosted over 10 guests including Nigerian comic star, Mr Macaroni, Lanre Adediwura, Actor Hussein Azeez Omotayo, Damola Olatunji, and BBN star, Adeoluwa Okusaga, among others.
