Dangote Petroleum Refinery has adjusted its ex-depot prices upward, raising the gantry price of Premiums Motor Spirit commonly known as petrol, to ₦1,175 per litre and Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), or diesel, to ₦1,620 per litre.
This development, confirmed on today the 9th of March 2026 also the fourth price revision by the refinery since early March and the third hike within just one week.
The industry official confirmed that the new pricing template has been communicated to fuel marketers and depot operators.
The price adjustments coincided with a rally in international crude oil benchmarks. As of 1:00 pm WAT, Brent crude was trading at about $102.8 per barrel, up 10.9 percent, while West Texas Intermediate crude stood at around $101.0 per barrel, up 11.1 percent.
