C & I Leasing Plc to pay 5 kobo Dividend to Shareholders

C & I Leasing Plc has announced a payment of 5 kobo final dividend to shareholders for the financial year ended 31st December, 2023.

The dividend will be subject to appropriate withholding tax and approval of the shareholders at the company’s Annual General Meeting.

Shareholders whose name appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on Friday 9th August, 2024, will qualify for the dividend.

On Monday, September 23, 2024, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders who qualify, and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.

Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, which is also available on the website of the Registrars: www.cordros.com, complete and submit it to the Registrar or their respective Banks.

The Company’s Annual General Meeting will be held electronically on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 1.00 pm.

C & I Leasing Plc was incorporated on 28 December 1990 and commenced business in June 1991. The Company was licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as a finance company, and is
owned by a number of institutional and individuals investors.

The Company’s shares were listed on the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) in December 1997.

C & I Leasing reported a gross earnings of ₦22.41 billion (2022: ₦17.93 billion) for the 2023 financial year and a profit after tax of ₦273.33 million (2022: ₦577.26 million).
