The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has announced his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed.
LP, Friday, revealed Baba-Ahmed as its vice presidential candidate in forthcoming 2023 general elections.
Datti Baba-Ahmed is the founder of Baze University Abuja. He was a former lawmaker who represented Kaduna North Senatorial district.
The 46-year old is outspoken against corruption and in 2007 he took the INEC to court over conduct of past elections.
His unveiling followed the withdrawal of Doyin Okupe, who had stood in.
Okupe who was nominated in order to beat the deadline given by the Independent Electoral Commission had on Thursday announced his withdrawal via his Twitter handle.
