On Monday the 17 June 2024, according to an eye witness report, men of the underworld struck at Nnewi and abducted an individual, which lead to a pursuit and gun fire exchange between the Anambra state vigilante group (AVG) and the kidnappers.
A member of the AVG was shot dead while another sustained injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
As at the filing of this report the details of the kidnaped person is still unknown.
