Former Governor of Kano State, Ibrahim Shekarau, has formally decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), dumping his senatorial ticket of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
Shekarau was on Monday received into PDP at his Mandubawa home by the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
The former governor said he is ready to mobilize his supporters across the country to guarantee the victory of Atiku by next year’s presidential election.
The senator representing Kano central who was elected under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) left the ruling party after a rift with Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje
