Zenith Bank Plc (NGX: ZENITHBANK) has announced an interim dividend of 50 kobo per ordinary share for half-year period ended June 30, 2023.

The interim dividend will be subject to the deduction of appropriate withholding tax, which will be deducted at the time of payment.
A corporate actions announcement filed by Zenith Bank seen by Investogist sets the dividend dates as follows;
- Qualification date: September 22, 2023
- Payment date: September 29, 2023
On September 29, 2023, dividend will be paid electronically to Ordinary Shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at September 22, 2023, and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.
Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Form, which is available on the Registrar’s website: www.veritasregistrars.com, complete and submit to the Registrar or their respective Banks.
Zenith Bank Plc posted a profit of N291.73bn (N111.41bn) for the half-year period ended June 30, 2023 and an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of N9.29 (H1 2022: N3.55).
