Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc announces N1.50 interim dividend for half-year 2023

Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc (NGX: STANBIC) has announced an interim dividend of N1.50 per ordinary share of 50 kobo each, for the half-year period ended 30 June, 2023. The proposed dividend is of same value as the company declared and paid for the same period in 2022.

In August 2022, STANBIC announced an interim dividend of N1.50 per ordinary 50 kobo share for the half-year period ended 30 June 2022. The proposed dividend will be subject to deduction of appropriate withholding tax and regulatory approval.

The qualification date for the interim dividend has been set on Tuesday 12 September, 2023, with the Register of Shareholders closed (book closure) from Wednesday 13 September 2023 to Wednesday 20 September 2023.

Book closure is a time period during which a company will not handle adjustments to the shareholder register or requests to transfer shares. Companies will often use the book closure date to identify the cut-off date for determining which investors on record will receive a dividend payment for that period.

On Wednesday 27 September 2023, dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at close of Trading on Tuesday 12 September 2023, and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their dividends directly into their Bank accounts.

Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, which is also available on our Registrars website:
https://firstregistrarsnigeria.com/download-forms/, complete and submit to the Registrar or their respective Banks.

Shareholders with dividend warrants and share certificates that have remained unclaimed or are yet to be presented for payment or returned for validation are advised to complete the e-dividend registration or contact the Registrars.
